Wild Turkey and Whitetail deer
Fox Creek Outfitters controls over 4,000 acres of private ground located in Richland and Wayne counties in Central Illinois. The Whitetail Deer and Eastern Wild Turkeys are abundant in these areas. Soybean, corn, alfalfa and winter wheat provide year-round food sources with CRP ground providing excellent cover.
Archery & Firearm Hunting
Whether the hunter chooses to use a bow and arrow or firearm, hunting pressure is minimal. Our firearms hunt are held on separate properties from archery hunts. Areas are maintained for either bow hunting or firearm, but not both. We have over 80 stands to choose from. Hunters are rotated on a regular basis to minimize hunting pressure and increase deer sightings for all hunters.
Game Management
For the past 8 years, Fox Creek Outfitters has practiced a deer management program by harvesting several does each year along with a 130" class buck minimum. With 70 percent of the hunters returning each year, Fox Creek has proven it's properties to have awesome whitetail potential, with bucks being killed each year in the 130 - 170 class.
